ABSTRACT
The article deals with the mega-projects for the production of petro-chemical products and polymers for mass use. It is noted that the introduction of even one such project can almost completely satisfy domestic demand for a certain period, provide import substitution and provide a product for export. In order to avoid a deficit in one period and overproduction in another, it is recommended to "separate" large-scale projects, that is, such their arrangement in time to avoid a deficit in some years and an overabundance in others, while ensuring more or less uniform development of the industry. The need for an early revision of the rules and regulations ensuring the use of products of the petrochemical industry, especially its new types, is noted. The author believes that the main trend in the development of the industry is the transition to the production of medium-sized low-tonnage products with a higher added value. This is the main road for the development of the industry. To ensure the release of such products, it is necessary to restore, but in a new form, with the participation of the state and the business community, the previously existing chains from academic institutions and universities to specialized technology companies and research centers, and from them to implementation organizations and manufacturing companies.

ABSTRACT
Restoration of the environment is a key priority for the Government of Azerbaijan, together with all areas of social and economic life of the country. At present as well as in all other areas SOCAR and BP keep constantly the spotlight on environmental protection as a global issue and is cooperating with each other since 2008 in gas flaring reduction in frame of the World Bank's GGFR partnership. In 2011 with the purpose of gas flaring reduction In terms of this partnership Joint Working Group between SOCAR and BP was composed of and a number of actions in direction of flaring reduction have been implemented in ACG field by this Group. As an initial flaring value for baseline scenario of the project was taken an average value of 4% of associated gas flared in 2010-2011. In 2012 in the framework of the mentioned project, it was developed an improvement plan aimed to reduce flaring gas volume. As a result of the implementation of the plan, the volume of the flared gas was reduced from 4% (baseline scenario) to 2 %. In 2019 it was achieved 0.9%. This project resulted in gas flaring reduction, low-pressure gas gathering, and transportation through existing infrastructure, delivering gas to consumers, efficient use of the energy resources and improvement of consumers’ access to energy.

ABSTRACT
In present work, a series of samples of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) that differ in the type of carrier used (magnesium oxide, aluminum oxide, silica gel) and synthesis conditions have been synthesized by the method of catalytic vapor deposition. In order to increase the hydrophilicity of the surface, a technique for the oxidative modification of the obtained MWCNTs was developed. Samples of oxidized MWCNTs were subjected to mechanical activation with a variable time and type of grinding. Using pretreated samples (the average length of nanotubes is up to 35 μm; the concentration of surface carboxyl groups is up to 0.36 mmol/g), aqueous nanodispersions with a content of 0.05–0.2 wt. % MWCNT. Aqueous nanodispersions of pretreated MWCNTs were characterized by high resistance to the sedimentation process (at least 1000 h). The dependence of the heat-conducting properties of the obtained nanodispersions with the MWCNT content on the degree of grinding is investigated. It is shown that the thermal conductivity of nanodispersions increases with a decrease in the average length of nanotubes, as well as with an increase in the content of MWCNTs.

ABSTRACT
The article discusses the transformation of 1,3-dioxacycloalkanes under the action of carbenes of various structures. The dichloro- and dibromocarbenation of substituted cyclic acetals is considered in detail. The conditions of the reaction and the yields of the obtained compounds are considered. The effect of ultrasound and microwave radiation before thermal heating is shown. The reactions of cyclic acetals and their heteroanalogues with alkoxycarbonylcarbenes of various structures are considered in detail.

ABSTRACT
The processing of associated petroleum gas is the first stage in the complex chain of production of petrochemical products. In this regard, increasing the economic efficiency of gas processing enterprises is one of the key focuses of SIBUR Holding. The main stages of creation of the digital twin of the South Balyk Gas Processing Plant were considered in this paper. With the help of the digital twin a number of measures for increasing the production plant efficiency were calculated and implemented.

OBTAINING NEW BIFUNCTIONAL ORGANIC EXTRAGENTS FOR SELECTIVE EXTRACTION OF OIL PORPHYRINS (P. 30-34)

ABSTRACT
The results of a study of a number of new bifunctional organic reagents as extractants for the selective extraction of petroleum porphyrins from asphaltenes are presented, their spectral characteristics are studied, and the dependence of the recovery rate on the mass ratio of the extractant and petroleum feedstock is revealed. The best results are obtained with a weight ratio of 1:30. The isolated mixture of metalloporphyrins is first subjected to demetallization with hydrochloric acid (pH = 1-2), turning into a mixture of porphyrins, then, to obtain individual metal porphyrin complexes, the required transition metal ions are introduced into the porphyrin ring by treating the mixture with salts of these metals. It is shown that the yield of synthesized petroleum porphyrins is 42-85%, depending on the nature of the metal. The composition and structure of the synthesized petroleum metalloporphyrins containing iron, cobalt, nickel, manganese have been established by modern methods of physicochemical analysis. The catalytic properties of the synthesized metalloporphyrins in the epoxidation reaction of unsaturated alkenes were studied. Their dioxygen adducts were obtained and a mechanism for the oxidation of alkenes with the formation of oxinoid structures as a result of the decomposition of the dioxygen complexes of metalloporphyrins was proposed.

ABSTRACT
Fundamental differences in the mechanism and kinetics of the conversion of ethanol to divinyl on ZnO-Al2O3 and MgO-SiO2 modified catalysts were analyzed. It is shown that optimum process areas in the first case are temperature 420–430 °C and space velocity LHSV 2.8–3.2 h-1, and in the second – 360–380 °C and 0.5–1.0 h-1, respectively. It is possible to initiate the process with hydrogen peroxide, manifested at high volumetric speeds and low contact times. Based on the studies conducted, it is assumed that the differences in the field of optimal mode parameters on catalysts are due to the contribution of the reactions of the reaction of the resulting ethylene with acetaldehyde and the dehydrodimerization of ethylene on the catalyst MgO-SiO2. As a result, it can be concluded that the mechanism for converting ethanol to divinyl on a MgO-SiO2 catalyst of type K-64 is more close to the classic Gorin mechanism. Two versions of process implementation are proposed: in high-temperature and low-temperature areas depending on choice of catalyst type.

ABSTRACT
The reactivity of the interclass isomers of dimethyl ether (DME) and ethanol was compared in the process of their prevalence into 1,3-butadiene. The optimal conditions of the main parameters of the processes with the maximum yield of the target substance have been determined. The synthesis of a more selective catalyst based on the sol-gel method is shown.

The possibilities of using palladium nanoparticles supported on carbons obtained from lignin-containing raw materials as catalysts are shown.Examples of the synthesis of a support by thermochemical activation using phosphoric acid are given.The catalytic properties of palladium nanoparticles supported on carbons in the reactions of olefin hydrogenation are described.

ABSTRACT
A new catalyst based on zinc and aluminum oxides has been developed, obtained by impregnation of γ-aluminum oxide with zinc, aluminum and potassium nitrates. A comparative analysis of the indicators of the process of synthesized (ZAK-16) and industrial (K-64) samples for the process of obtaining divinyl from ethanol has been carried out. As a result of the study, a one-stage, continuous process for the production of divinyl was proposed, proceeding at a temperature of 395–405 °C at LHSV = 4–6 h-1 in the presence of hydrogen peroxide, surpassing industrial indicators in productivity and selectivity.

ABSTRACT
The paper contains the results of a comprehensive feasibility study of switching to digital data transmission between 0.4 kV electrical equipment and automated process control system equipment using modern micro processing devices and smart valves for oil refining industry by the example of newly built gas processing complex. Existing and prospective data transmission systems are analysed, problems related to reliability of power supply to micro processing devices in order to protect 0.4 kV motors are addressed, possibility of import substitution of micro processing control and protection devices is investigated. Obtained experimental dependence of design solution economic effect from the length of cable route between a transformer substation and instrumentation room when a digital signal transmission system is implemented is shown.

ABSTRACT
The increase of the ambient air temperature in the summertime has the negative influence on the efficiency of air-cooling units, which leads to a decrease in the production of target components at gas processing plants. Using complex digital models that take into account all scope of technological factors allows to provide the solution to this problem in the most effective way. The paper describes methods for improving the efficiency of air cooling units, based on the results of the first-principle process simulation of the enterprise.

ABSTRACT
The article discusses methodological generalizations, their role in the humanitarization of education: enriching the educational material, ensuring its scientific character and a broader vision of the student. The methodology of generalizations is also associated with the mathematization of learning, strengthens the corresponding (generalizing) side of mathematical knowledge, opens the student the ways to understand the general laws and processes of activity. The article highlights mathematical generalizations and mathematization in line with their proximity in deepening the educational information presented in engineering training.

ABSTRACT
The paper analyzes the tire recycling technology by pyrolysis. The basic requirements for modeling the process have been identified. The effect of the catalyst on the composition of the pyrolysis products was studied. The process of tire pyrolysis was simulated. The data obtained as a result of the process modeling are analyzed.
